Experienced Employee Wanted for a Small Dairy Farm near Farsø
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced employee for our small, well-managed dairy farm located in 9640 Farsø, with a start date of 1 February 2026.
About the farm
We run a smaller dairy farm with a strong focus on animal welfare, herd health, and a good working environment.
The farm includes:
- Approx. 140 dairy cows (crossbreeds, black-and-white and brown-and-white)
- 100 hectares of land, mainly used for grass, maize, and grain production
- Modern operation with Lely A5 milking robots
You will work closely with the owner, who is highly engaged in the farm and places great importance on considering employees’ interests and skills.
Job responsibilities
Your primary tasks will include:
- Monitoring of milking robots
- Feeding cows
- Animal health care and treatment
- Calvings
- Maintenance and cleaning
There is also the possibility of additional tasks such as:
- Rolling fields
- Straw handling
(depending on interest and willingness)
Working hours
- Week 1: 08:00 – 15:00
- Week 2: 19:00 – 21:30
- Every second weekend: two shifts per day
- 08:00 – 13:00
- 19:00 – 21:30
You will have one day off per week, either before or after the working weekend.
We expect that you:
- Have 2–3 years of experience working with cattle
- Are eager to learn and develop your skills
- Are very good with animals and prioritize animal welfare
- Can communicate in English
- Have your own transportation to and from work
